what makes theirs superior?, especially since its not on this NT platorm

Theirs is actually useful because it is calculated differently and does not have the amount of lag this one and the TTM version have. Unfortunately, I doubt anyone is just going to stumble upon their code and produce it for us here in NT, so unless you can persuade the PaintBarFactory people to offer a version for NT we are probably out of luck regarding a truly useful version of this indicator.
