Are Strategy orders trader PC dependant?

I've seen what looks like a nice (but expensive) commercial Chart Trader replacement which does adaptive position sizing and other useful tricks - but it's a Strategy. As I understand it, Chart Trader puts its orders on your broker's trade server, but Strategies fire them off from your trading PC (?). If that's correct, does that mean that if I enter a trade from this Strategy and leave it to run all night, and my trading computer then crashes, then I've lost any protective stop and target orders I put on that trade?

I asked the writers of that software this question but haven't as yet received a reply, so any info would be very helpful.

Max, that would really depend on which orders would be exactly used and which brokerage connection, there's per se no difference between ChartTrader and a NinjaScript strategy.
