    VMAR Band & VMAR Rainbow

Rainbows and bands based on the FantailVMA1 indicator.
Since Gumphrie's RMMA indicator is so terrific, I based my drawing code on his one.

Edit: v1.1 Rainbow and Bands v1.3 colors will now be saved in templates, thanks to Gumphrie's example, I have the utmost respect for that guy!

Nothing displays on my screen when I select these indicators. Are they broken?

You have to input the values (defaults are set to 0).

I saved my chart after I inputted values and colors. The next time I opened my template, the values were there. The colors have reverted to transparent and nothing shows on my chart.

          Any suggestion?

            Help with error

I installed the VMAR Rainbow indicator this morning, but ever since then, I have the attached error message whenever I tried to import a script. Any idea on how to identify which file is causing the error? Thanks!!

              Hello wuolong,

The error indicates you have errors in existing NinjaScript files, which you need to correct first in order to import new NinjaScript files.

Please follow the instructions below. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC that contains the error. If you’re wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader compiles all indicators and strategies. Not just one.

              1) Open NinjaTrader
              2) From the Control Center -> Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator
              3) Select an indicator and double click on it.
              4) A new window will appear and you will need to right click and compile the indicator.
              5) At the bottom of the window a new section will appear were you can find the error locations.
              6) From there you have the option to remove the indicator or debug it.

General information regarding debugging NinjaScript files can be found at the link below.

Thanks, NinjaTrader-Jason for the advice. I have many indicators installed and I am not sure which one is causing the problem so I just un-installed NinjaTrader and re-installed it back and reloaded some scripts I am using. I wish there is some sort of error log file to look at.

Thanks again and keep up with the good work!!

                  There is ...
Just try to compile one of your indicators/strategies and follow the errors at the bottom of the screen.
Can be tedious, but it works.

Hello! Could you provide the Rainbow template attached to these indicators? Many thanks in advance.
