Gom CD and resoultion for bid/ask data
Hi is anybody using Gom CD here? Is there any problem using this indicator with tick data if bid/ask price of the product would change within a second? It seems the best resolution for bid/ask data for NT is 1 sec but not for each ticks... So there may be trouble for GomCD to recognize the right bid/ask at each tick... Thanks a lot if anyone could help.Tags: None

Hello,
Thanks for your forum post.
I know that NinjaTraders database only records down to a granularity of second. I'm unsure of how the GomCD works however in this regard. I will leave this thread open for someone to chare there experiences with this custom indicator.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.BrettNinjaTrader Product Management

Richard over at movethemarkets.com found a funny way out of the box work around. Make a bar type and have access to your sessions worth of data!
It has its follies, and its an initial run at the issue without having to use a recorder. (recompiling is a pain but hey, I'll take it)
Between either the GOM Recorder or coding the default bars to carry the extended data, Im sure NinjaTrader will implement eventually.
