    The extreme plotted ends are the max/min prices of the specified data ranges.
    Typical histogram distribution across the price range means that the volume at each end is close to zero.

    If you are looking for significant volume levels, set the 'ThreshholdPecent' property to 70 which emulates the VAH and VAL levels of Market Profile Theory.

    Its theoretically possible, but how usable it would be is the real question.
    Take the amount of ticks per minute (100, 1000, more?) and realize that the all computations would have to be made that many times per minute.
    Most PCs are not capable of this.
    Still, I'll add it to the list of possible future enhancements if there is enough demand for it.

    The version is working about 90% with all scenarios in NT7.
    Tentative initial release to users is in 6 weeks at end of July.

    Runningman;

    While not necessarily apparent, transforming a large quantity of data points into a histogram chart leaves room for subjective interpretation.

    See this thread post for some insight into why histograms vary;

    Dave;
    As you've correctly noted, any changes you make to the codebase are for your personal use only.
    Thanks for your adherence to the copyright.

    Everyone;
    The NT 7 version has progressed through the development stage.
    - It is completely re-written for improved performance, accuracy
    - Compatibility with NT7 features such as logarithmic Y axis is included.
    - New features and user settings have been added to the indicator.

    - Currently it is undergoing testing.
    - Next it will be merged with the NT6.5 version so there is only one codebase to maintain for the NinjaTrader platform.
    - Finally it will be prepared for distribution via a new channel so everyone can easily obtain their desired version and feature set and I can continue to enhance it for all.

    Fred, thanks for some great work! Is NT7 version ready?

    First thought is to delete the file
    ProgramFiles\NinjaTrader7\bin\Custom\Indicator.Pri ceVolumeHistogram.cs
    and re-attempt the download.

    However, even if the file is imported successfully, there are further issues due to NT7 enhancements that make the code uncompilable and inaccurate in its plotting.

    Substantial re-work is still being done to ensure full compatibility and accuracy with NT7.

    The problem with this is you can only look at one day at a time. Is it possible to have a profile for each day? That would really help traders who watch the volume profile.
