Hi hegh2000,
Great tool but there a persistent problem in that it 'drops' several histogram bars after having intially drawn them as the actual price bar closes! So you end up with profile missing several bars. Additionally, does this affect the accuracy of the actual PVP/VPOC (macVolume) or is this separate to the drawing aspects?

Captured this from 6E. See the missing bars though as price is traversing through in realtime the volume distribution bars actually 'show up' but then as price proceeds, the bars are 'lost' from the profile. Further, noticed today that the profile is stable until that is price is on the vaxVolume (longest bar) that is when the entire profile bars keep extend back and forth. I would have thought only the volume affected is at the price and not the entire volume profile.

With that said, I believe this is the best there is in getting to do what I want. So thank you for this tool.

you use the VOC mode?

if yes, all volumes are given at the close bar.

2. VOC: The volume appears at close of bar

Yes did use the VOC, and after your response trying out the POC. Initial impressions POC gives a better normal distribution but as @1335hrs CST, gives two maxVolumes, and neither POC was accurate. I need investigate the difference between the VOC and POC. Though I am only interested in the normal distribution.

this version is based on CalculateValueAreaHisto_V2.

Parameters:

if intraday = true we have the volume a day.

if intraday = false
daysLookBack parameter is taken into account.
exe. daysLookBack = 4,

we have the profile of today + 4 days.

Adrien, thank you for your indicator. Do you have this for the volume profile, people usually refer to it VTPO (Evenly distributes Volume accross the ticks per bar) in this forum.

since this indicator is based on the volume, in this particular case,
TPO = VTPO.
