Volume Profile over number of bars?

I like the vertical histogram for volume profile, but is there anything out there that will separate the display to # of bars. I looked at calcvolumearea and dvaluearea, some of them seems to display a histogram after some number of bars, but it seems like it is only for TPO or something about 70% of the previous day, not exactly what I want. All I want is the same behavior of volume profile or volume zones, but instead of it showing one histogram per day, I want it to do something like one histogram per 5 bars, or X bars. Is there anything like this already out there?

The version 2.0 Imported fine for me. I'm using NT7 v22. I've used this indicator for a couple of weeks and really like it, wish someone could help code it to save historical data, it only works in real time. When I refresh the chart or change indicators I loose everything. Thanks Ed for this indicator.

                Hi,

Is there a way to store the tick data so that the historical tick data is already on the chart when it opens? Thank you.

                  Hello Reese2123,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!

Please go to Tools > Options > Data > enable the option to Save Chart Data As Historical. This will save the tick data viewed in NinjaTrader as historical data.

                    Wow,

Thank you very much for the speedy response

So is that "viewed" data, as in I have to have the chart open in order for the tick data to record and be saved? Or can I open any chart and the tick data would come up?

                    Thank you

                      Hello Reese2123,

                      Thanks for your reply.

You will need to be receiving real time data for the desired instrument within a chart to save it.

                        Thank you

Thank you. Is there any way to buy or load tick data, in order to overcome this obstacle?
