Tick volume - the sum of ticks in a given time period

I'm looking for an indicator "Tick volume" - the sum of ticks in a given time period, but I cannot find such a thing... *does anybody knows about that ?

To clarify, you want sum of ticks, not sum of volume? Sum of volume is the VOL indicator in NT. I'm not aware of any sum of tick indicator. You may want to search for it on our forum and/or look in our indicator file sharing section of this forum.

Questions:
(1) Is this an indicator that can be created in Ninjatrader? Perhaps by making a copy of and modifying the VOL indicator?

(2) I noticed that IQFEED provides "Number of Trades Today" (see http://www.iqfeed.net/index.cfm?disp...r&section=main). Would it be possible to use this for EOD charts?
