Is the UniRenko Backtestable

Hi There, I am using the UniRenko provided at UniRenko Universal Renko BarType 8.

Want to understand if it is Back testable and can the results be trusted if used with High Resolution Order Fill ?

Thank you for your post.

It would be expected that any Renko bar type would need to be tested in real time to be accurate, due to the nature of Renko bars.

Historical will not allow Renko logic to work as it does in real-time which can lead to discrepancies. This is due to how Renko bars are built.

HOFR may yield more realistic backtest results, but we would recommend backtesting your strategy using the Playback Connection so that the bars may be built more realistically as if they were in real time.
