Chart Trader or ATM ability to close a percentage of a position with one click

Is this a feature or will it be a feature in the future versus entering other orders for a quantity that will close out a % of your position with one click ?

You can program it to close 3 different % so that you do not have to trail your stop loss so tight and get knocked out of a runner, instead you close a % with one click based on your judgement until it hits your TP or SL

Hello Laurie P,

There is not currently any features to close percentages of a position in manual tools or NinjaScript, each order would need to specify an exact quantity. To close a part of the position you would first need to select the quantity that you wanted to close and then use an exit order. In NinjaScript you could use math to calculate how much a percentage of the position would be however you then run into fractional quantities which are not supported so you would have to come up with logic to make sure the quantity used is a whole number and less than or equal to the remaining quantity
