Cant install advanced risk reward indicator

    I'm trying to install this:

This is a port of the NinjaTrader 7 AdvancedRiskReward.v3 indicator. This indicator helps you define your entry, stop and target (1 or 3) visually on the chart with the help of horizontal lines, calculates your potential P/L ,unrealized P/L,Risk/Reward ratio and contracts sizing per account size. Once started click on the chart 3 times there […]

When I try to, I get an error saying:

Import Failed. The NinjaScript Archive File may contain duplicate metho names that already exist on your PC, modify a method signature that other scripts were dependent upon, or be missing a required file on either your PC or in the import archive.

    Hello Kraken29,

    Thank you for your post.

This message generally means there would be a conflict between something you have installed currently and what you are importing.

Do you have another version of this same indicator already imported?
Do you have other custom indicators imported? If so, would any of them be similar to the one you're now trying to import?

You could manually install the item to test what the error is. For an indicator, the .cs file would go into the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicator folder.

After copying the file into the correct folder, complete a compile to check for errors. If a new error should appear, please expand the Error column so I can read the details and provide a screenshot of the error. This should narrow down what is happening.

Thank you for your quick reply, I did get it running. Sadly, I'm not very happy with it. Is the source code for the risk reward drawing tool that comes with NT8 available? I expect that I can easily modify it to add two more targets. Thank you.

        Hello,

Yes, the source code is available from within the NinjaScript Editor in the 'DrawingTools' section. To make a copy, open the source code > right click within the Editor > Save As to save your own version.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
