SCALP PLOT Indicator....................

Does someone in here know how to read this Indicator for the buy / sell signals ( when to make the Entries ) ??? And also, what time frame is best to use with it ?? Do the settings need to be tweaked any in anyones opinion? Thanks - Michael

How can we use this in the strategy wizard? What would indicate that the SCALPER has plotted??

Hi, the 'Scalper' does not have a direct return value, so this would need some custom code changes to make it work properly in the Strategy wizard.

Bertrand I believe the user is referring to the scalpplot indicator (also made by Gumphrie), not the scalper indicator.

If I remember right, the signals are when the plot goes to +1 or -1. It can be a bit tricky to read but if you put it on the chart with the scalper it's not too hard to figure out.

If the Scalp Plot indicator has plots then you should be able to access the plots from the Strategy Wizard provided it was programmed in that manner. When you select it from the Condition Builder, if it is available, there will be a parameter called Plot that you can change. Otherwise, we just cannot offer any more support on this 3rd party indicator and it may be best for you to try to contact the original author.
