Hi, I see that Chelsea_B is still here. Where can I find a description of the various Parameters in this AD indicator, that I am using every day? When I reload a page, I frequently get a bar at the previous bar before the actual open of the market, and it is completely at the other side of the range, that is, very low when AD is high and vice versa. Trying to get rid of it so I don't have to scroll and stretch the panel. see below.

Hello ericjschroeder,
The User App Share page does not describe the parameters.
The Close tick ago is used for the transition from real-time to historical. -1 is used a 1 is used for time based bars, a 0 is used for tick based bars to try and get these to transition correctly.
The Color for down bars is the color for bars where the close is less than the open.
The Color for up bars is the color for bars where the close is greater than the open.
Candle body outline is the color for the outline around the bars.
Candle wick is the color of the high / low wicks.
Hide chart bars will set the chart bars to transparent so only the AdvanceDecline bars will show.
Show price marker shows a price market in the price scale for the plots that the bars are created from.

@NinjaTrader_ChelseaB - I have been searching for a NYSE Advance/Decline & NYSE Tick indicator for NT* and came across 2 of yours:
1. https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/user-app-share-download/advance-decline/ -
2. https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use...vance-decline/
Could you let me know which one is best to use?
Also, I purchased the data feed for TICK data for NT8 for these to use but I get a blank chart? Any assistance or documentation for the indicators would be appreciated - Mark

Hello mrich0245,
I would recommend redownloading the file from the User App Share to ensure you have latest version of this indicator and use that. It may be the other file is an older version, as there is only script I've uploaded with this name.
This script uses the ^ADV and ^DECL indexes to simulate the ^ADD index (which is not available from NinjaTrader). The ^TICK index is not used by this script.
That said may I confirm you have loaded ^TICK on the chart (with the caret symbol at the beginning of the symbol)?
Or are you searching for TICK in the instrument selector and double clicking on the TICK Index search results?
(This is to ensure you are not loading an equity and that you are loading an index)Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello mrich0245,
The $ is fine and lets me know you have changed the symbology display to Month abbreviation instead of the default numeric.
As far as how to read the TICK index values, I wouldn't be able to provide trading advice on how to interpret this.
The NYSE TICK index is an index comparing all stocks rising to falling on the NYSE exchange.
Regarding the two screens, I think you are asking about the two panels on the chart. The upper panel is the ^TICK index. The lower panel appears to have loaded the A1MarketInternals indicator which provides a similar value to the ^ADD index.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello mrich0245,
The AdvanceDecline indicator loads the same way the ^ADD index loads as bars (or any index like the ^TICK index ^ADV index or ^DECL index).
I am not able to provide interpretation.
But if you wanted to just show the ADDClose plot as a line you could comment out line 163 where the ADDClose plot is set to transparent, and then comment out the OnRender() method that renders the bars.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hi Chelsea - Sorry to ask so many questions. Thank you for your patience. When I
- load - ^ADV I get the 1st graph
- load ^DECL I get the 2nd graph
-load ^ADD I get a blank graph #3
This means that the data is there but I cannot get an ^ADD graph? Do I need to adjust some settings?

Hello mrich0245,
The ^ADD (or $ADD) AdvanceDecline index is not available with NinjaTrader Brokerage. This why the AdvanceDecline indicator was created.
You could subscribe to this instrument with Kinetick or IQFeed.
Or you can use the AdvanceDecline indicator I've provided which simulates the ^ADD index.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service
