Yes, it did solve the problem!

The big problem was in my failure to include the line:

using SlingShot.Utility;

in the declarations section. Like the compile REALLY needs to actually know what you are refering to or something!

Thank you for posting a complete program, it really made the difference. BTW I love the squeeze too. You rock in my book.

Slingshot strategy

This is a good strategy,entry is good but its not good when it reverse the trade from long to short or short to long.Actually it make more worst.If use it with 8 tick target and 20 tick stop,it has way better result.I suggest to fix this like an open strategy,entry by strategy and target,stops as required.it will be more effective.

I found the same thing Alpha123, but I get the most benefit from this by simply trend following. By adjusting the periods I can see the overall trend and then I can follow a short linear regression with this as a backdrop and look for retracements against the trend and then pop in where I need to to scalp some ticks as it resumes direction. I like having the "at a glance" market trend in the background.
