Alert: DO NOT Install CleanChart Indicator

    adonm5 , NinjaTrader_ChelseaB

This indicator (in App Share - April 12) has many bugs and will seriously mess up your chart. For examples: Will totally remove other panels, will not reverse to your original chart settings, etc. It would require re-installing the old template to revert back to your chart original settings.

Recommend do not install until all the bugs are fixed.

    Cheers!

    Hello aligator,

If you have found problems with a user uploaded script its best to private message the user with details on what happened rather than posting a disclaimer. Our support cannot edit, debug or remove user made scripts unless they are against the upload policy. If its just not working as expected that's a good chance for you to work with the user to polish out the details. There is the chance of problems when using items that you download as they are made by individual users who may not account for all use cases.

The user would need to take your feedback and make changes then upload a new revision to the filesharing forums if there is a problem. User made scripts are added as source code so you can also do that process, you can make any changes needed to see it work correctly and them message the user about that and provide the comments on the changes you made so they can have that uploaded.

      Thanks Jesse,

I already addressed the author in post #1 NinjaTrader support was included as a curtsey.

The CleanChart indicator messes up chart window and I have no use, interest, or time to custom modify this indicator. My intention was to alert members of the issues.

        Hello aligator,

I understand that however keep in mind that our support has to reply to all posts that you have made regardless if you @ a specific user, it gets assigned to us to answer the post even if we are just chiming in. This is part of our support model.

@ing a user can be a way to contact a user if you are providing good constrictive feedback.

          Thanks again jesse,

This was meant to be "providing good constructive" not "constrictive" feedback.

          Cheers!
