Paint price bar based on MACD cross
Hi, I found this MACD paint bar indicator is very convenient. It is unfortunately in Ver 7 format. Can anyone help to convert it to NT version 8?
Thanks in advance!

Hello judysamnt7,
We have moved your post from the Indicator Development forum to the NinjaScript File Sharing forum as it sounds like you are looking for a converted script or for someone else to convert the script for you.
The script is already converted and available on out User App Share:
This is a conversion of the NT7 indicator MACDCrossColor. The standard MACD indicator that colors the Difference Green when the fast crosses above the slow and Red when it crosses below.

thanks Jim. your link is not exactly I am looking for - it only paints the indicator. what I want is to paint the price bar based on MACD cross over its average.

Hello judysamnt7,
Thanks for your message.
The code is open source and may be modified to your liking.
If you instead want to paint the chart bars instead of the MACD Diff bars, you could consider modifying the indicator in the NinjaScript Editor, and changing it so it modifies BarBrush instead of PlorBrushes.

Hi, thanks!
Because I never been editing a open source code, I am just wondering where I can find the code. Is it the .CS file from the zip files? If yes, What software do I need to edit it ?
