Close indicator

I am looking for a link or to create an indicator that draws a labeled horizontal lne at the 16:15 close. I have looked at all of the OHLC indicator and non allows for the 16:15 close. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks for your post(s).

The code is assuming that your data provider changes the close price of the Daily bar to be the settlement price. What data provider are you connected to?

The settlement price is not the same as the Last close price of the instrument in the session.

I don't know what instrument you are looking at but here is a link to the ES settlement data: https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/equ...ttlements.html In the link you can see the column "Last" which would be the last traded price at the close of the session, and the "Settlement" column which is what the Daily bar close price (may) be set to.

Does the indicator not draw the settlement price?

Looking ar M2k. The indicator draws a settlement price starting at Trading hours break line. I am looking to have the line begin at 16:15.

I take it you must be in EST time zone, can you confirm?

What data feed do you connect to?

Can you clarify why you want it to show the daily settlement 45 minutes before the session ends?

Maybe its easier to create a simple indicator with Date, Time, adjustable, Bar close, draw horizontal line with price markers?

Yes EST, Feed is continium. It is for a gap strategy.

With the gap strategy i am using the 16:15 est time works much better than other time i have used.

Or would it be easier to add Date and Time adjustable to horizontal line tool?

Thanks for your replies.

To confirm, the Continuum data feed (CQG) provides daily bars where the close price of the daily bar is the settlement price, so the indicator you referenced will pull the settlement price of the daily bar, however, daily bars are fixed trading hours of ETH and regardless of any selection, you make it in that indicator would only provide the close price (settlement price) of the ETH daily bar.

The Daily bar does not close until the end of the ETH session so the settlement price would not be available until that time (17:00 EST).
