    I could not replicate, but I believe the issue is I took a indicator that plots the plots as a lower panel plot and I added to the same as input series, THE VALUES is a dollar value like the chart, it is a calculated value, IT PLOTS JUST FINE, but the message will not go off the screen. it is my a third party indicator

    In further testing if you place a ADL plot for example, which is of course a lower panel plot, it will plot it on the same as input series panel, but it will give the same message

    So if I can block that message, then I could probably do it the way I want without the message. At least now I know is not a error

    thanks

    ANOTHER item relating to the Plot Name etc even though would not effect what you see in the DataBox, the Label when you add the CTP indicator, then apply to your preferred data input indicator (which may have multiple plot options) once you have created the indicator THE LABEL WILL THEN SHOW CTP - IndicatorX

    SO IF YOU HAVE multiple CTP indicator instances on the chart would be good to right click chart to view indicators and in you list see the different items you added other than CTP - IndicatorX

    CURRENTLY if you modify the label for your recognition of what you are plotting. apply and click OK, when you go back later the label does NOT retain you changes, it reverts back to CTP - IndicatorX

    That could be a must needed Improvement

    thanks again

      Hello DTSSTS,

      Thanks for your post and suggestions for improvements.

      I will be uploading a new version (v1.1) shortly to NT_User_Apps section of the NinjaTrader Ecosystem that should correct the issue of displaying the informational text when the price panel is not panel 0. There will also be an added option to limit the number of draw objects displayed, the default will be the most recent 50. This value can be changed when you apply the indicator and you can enter any reasonable integer value. A value of 99 is the key to displaying every drawing object. that the indicator would display.

      As NinjaTrader_Jim advised there is no means to pull the plot name of the input indicator, so the label options remain as they are.

        I just saw the new version, and have not downloaded or tested. The version we were speaking of in this post if you used the ColorthePlot in the strategy builder, even with a indicator that normally plots in the lower panel the color the plot did not offer the option to choose the lower panel when using in strategy builder.

        Doe or Can the update include a way to do that?

        NOTE I went back and created my own version of the ColorthePlot to ONLY plot in lower panel. So original in a Strategy Builder will plot in upper and the new version will plot in the lower panel only. I did this by saving as another indicator name, then setting defaults to the Lower Panel

        I MUCH EASIER SOLUTIONS (this has been requested feature tracking ID is SFT-5371 YOU COULD SUPPORT THIS REQUEST) would be to have additional drawing to Color the BackBrush in Lower Panel Only, then that color could be applied to rules and not just an indicator

        Steps of the changes

        Line 24 DrawMarkerSelection has to be renamed I LEFT AS IS with only adding 1 Letter to the End DravMarkerSelectionA

        Line 50 addPanel = true;

        Line 59 IsOverlay = false: <<<------ KEY

        Line 61 DrawOnPricePanel = false;

        Line 177 at the far left margin added // to block this line of code so that the message to select New Panel is block as we are ONLY plotting on New Panel by default

        Compile and you can use to Plot Lower Panel only in Strategy Builder

        PLEASE NOTE It will plot in Strategy Builder regardless of any additional rules or conditions. The ColorthePlot is set to Plot on Chart IT does not cars about any other conditions

            I share the modification in case someone wanted to plot on chart in there strategy. It actually does not meet my needs as it does not follow other applied conditions of the strategy.

                Hi Georges,

                Thank you for your kind words about ColorThePlot! I’m glad to hear it’s been useful for your scalping strategies. Regarding the issue with Supertrend not changing colors immediately, I understand how that can be frustrating. Implementing a “0” slope period could indeed help in making the transitions smoother. You might want to check if there are any settings in the script that allow for slope adjustments or consider reaching out to the developer for further customization options. If you have any other questions or need assistance, feel free to ask! sme coaching sydney

                Best,

                Diana
