We have seen cases recently where Windows XP users are unable to connect to the NinjaTrader license server. The primary cause being that Microsoft is no longer updating security certifications via Windows Update. Microsoft announced end-of-support for Windows XP on April 8th, 2014 and Windows Server 2003 July 14, 2015.

In light of this NinjaTrader will be dropping support for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 operating systems and recommend that any remaining users update to a supported operating system as soon as possible. We continue to support: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems.
Note: There is a temporary manual install of security certifications available for those of you who will not have immediate access to an updated operating system. Please contact platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com for details.
