throwing exceptions

Dear NinjaTrader fans,

under certain conditions I'd like to throw an exception in my NT8 strategy. I was hoping to see the string that I am passing into the exception's constructor in the output window. Is there a predefined exception class that will do that? Or will that string always be replaced by NinjaTrader's own generic message?

You would need to look into creating your own exception: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...v=vs.110).aspx

NinjaTrader would not overwrite your exception.
