NT8 Margin Calculation

Hello-

In NT7 I would calculate margin used as follows (assume these other variables are all correctly declared elsewhere):

availableCapital = StrategyCapital - (Positions[BarsInProgress].Quantity * Instrument.MasterInstrument.Margin);

How do I find the instrument's initial margin when scripting? I can't seem find it anywhere (i.e. within MasterInstrument). I also can't seem to find where I'd even enter it in the Instrument editor.

Still looking for a response here. I get the feeling that you can't access individual margin values yet. I've taken to hard-coding them for now.

I have submitted a feature request to the product management team for the following feature :

This customer would like to be able to access per-instrument margins programmatically

I will follow up with more information as soon as it's available. If the feature requests already exists, a vote will be added to it.
