Connection vs Display Name

Is there a setting to use the "Connection Name" rather than the "Display Name" in the account drop-down boxes?

The Display name is usually controlled by the provider and is generally long and difficult to decode if you select the proper connection, where I know what I named the connection. It would be much easier if I could select by Connection rather than Display name (or maybe display both in box):

"Connection" - "Display name"

Currently I do not believe there would be a way to accomplish this using the settings included.

Just to confirm I understood correctly, you are asking to display the Connection name rather than the actual Account name in the account selector for tools like the ChartTrader as an example, is this correct? This would more or less be a "Mask account name with connection name" type of option?

Could an option to add a Display Name for an account also be a viable option to provide a custom name for a specific account?

That is correct, I would like control over what is shown in the Account selector box. Right now I cannot update the "Display Name". It would be Ideal if I could do that but not sure if you need that for the account information to the remote broker. That would certainly be easier (what I expected to do actually was to "edit" the Display Name thinking that may have been a default value, but it is grayed out and can't be edited).
