TickSize Bug?

I have found that when I have added a few data series in my indicator with AddDataSeries, when I use TickSize, the value keeps fluctuating randomly. I would have thought it would stay constant at the Main Instrument's tick size. For example if I have a EURUSD chart, and my indicator adds the data series for USDJPY in the code, shouldn't TickSize always be the ticksize of the base instrument of the chart (EURUSD)?

Thank you for the post.

I would expect the TickSize to match the instrument that called OnBarUpdate, not just the Primary. As the BarsInProgress changes the instrument specific values would as well.

Are you seeing Random values or TickSizes of the instruments you are adding?

You could check by using a Print like the following:

Print("BIP: " + BarsInProgress + " TickSize: " + TickSize + " Instrument Name: " + Instrument.FullName);

I think you can get the primary TickSize regardless of the current BarsInProgress value using this:

BarsArray[0].Instrument.MasterInstrument.TickSize

Great info, that makes sense. It was not a bug as I thought.
