Basic Entry PnL calculation

NT8 RC1. In Basic Entry, the PnL displayed is based on the Last price, rather than on the relevant Ask (for a Sell Short) or Bid (for a Buy) price. Hence, depending on the type of trade and whether the Last price is the Ask or Bid price, the PnL may be correct or wrong.

Shouldn't the PnL be calculated based on the type of trade and the price to exit that specific trade, not just on the Last price? This should then produce a consistent, correct PnL.

Hello,

You can choose how to calculate via control center > tools > options > Trading category and checking or unchecking "Use last price for PnL". If that is checked Last price will be used and if unchecked the Ask for longs and the bid for shorts.
