    Time and data issues

    I attached a screen save from a few minutes ago....
    - data provider Ninja Continuum
    - NQ 09-16 120 Second chart
    - Trading Hours standard NT8 CME Index Futures ETH

    No matter when I start the chart, the last bar time is several hours back.....when the next bar finally loads, it has the correct time.....

    ..........................
    After checking other charts and seeing the same bad data, I closed down Ninja, did the usual clearing of cache and this time deleted all the data in Documents>NinjaTrader8>db>Tick and Minute.......
    then restarted everything and reloaded all inputs again from scratch.
    I did finally get good charts....but what the heck caused that first hiccup??

    Hello photog, and thank you for your question.

    There was a reported service outage for the NT historical data servers this morning. The situation has since been resolved, and incoming historical data for your instruments should now reflect market conditions without a 4 hour delay. Please let us know if this is not the case, or if there are any other ways we can help.

      Are you guys gonna develop some sort of "error messaging system" when this sort of thing happens?
      It would be nice to have a notification so I don't go around trying to chase down problems....because from my end I have no way of knowing if I have an NT8 glitch or purely data.

        I am happy to help. I have brought this up in discussion with several staff members, and since these sorts of things are rare, we have decided to continue constantly monitoring the HDS (historical data server) and repair discrepancies quickly as they come up. Our platform support team members including myself, here on the forum and through our platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com system, are the best points of contact if you feel there is an HDS issue. Please let us know if there are any other ways we can help.
