"Undo" deleted tab?

In NT8 I have occasionally deleted a chart tab by mistake as the x on the right of the tab isn't visible until it's too late! So this doesn't seem to be the most ergonomic design! I would have thought most users would be happy with the right click/close tab option only?

Is there a way to undo/restore a tab?

Hello cognis0, and thank you for your question.

I would first like to draw your attention to the Tools -> Options -> Confirm on window or tab close option. With this checked, if you use the x to close a tab, you will get a confirmation dialog.

I have submitted a feature request to the product management team for the following feature :

This user would like the ability to undelete tabs, similar to what ctrl + shift + f does in a web browser like Firefox or Chrome

I will follow up with more information as soon as it's available. If the feature requests already exists, a vote will be added to it.
