How to remove straegy trades from chart

NT Forum,

In NT8, I have run a Strategy on a chart. As is usual the, the chart is marked with trades (e.g. "MyEntry @..." etc) historical and realtime. When the Strategy is removed, the trades historical executed are removed however the trades executed realtime remain (attached).

How do I remove this markings?

Thank you for writing in.

Please follow the instructions below to disable the plotting of trade executions.

• Right click in your chart and select the menu "Data Series..."
  
• Find the "Plot executions" parameter for each data series and change the value to "Do Not Plot"
  
• Press the "OK" button

Thank you for your response.

You are correct, selecting "Plot executions" - "Do Not Plot" removes the offending plots. However, the proposed solution (logically) results in no plots when a Strategy is enabled. This is not the desired behaviour.

I would expect the plots to show when a Strategy is enabled and the plots to be removed when the Strategy is removed.

The issue is when a Strategy is removed, Historical executions are removed but Realtime executions remain.

Any further suggestions are welcome.

Hello Shansen,

It would be expected for the historical plot executions of your strategy to disappear once you have removed the strategy from the chart. These executions are just showing the executions done historically by the strategy.

I would suggest setting your plot executions to do not plot when your strategy is disabled if you wish to remove your real-time plots. Otherwise, you will want to enable them again when your strategy is running.
