NT8 .0.0.11 Strategy Wizard "Timevalue"

NT 8.0.0.11 Strategy Wizard "Time value" allows input of a specific time BUT when saved, the time is saved as the clock time of the PC and not the time input.

When you go back to correct it, the time you inputted is still there correctly. But when saved it uses the clock time of when you originally created the condition.

I.e... input TimeOfDay = new TimeSpan(16,59,00) and it will show as:
.................TimeOfDay = new TimeSpan( 3,43,33) because that is the time the condition was created.

This renders the Time Value almost useless. To get around it, I adjusted my PC clock to the time I wanted and saved. Then corrected my clock time again.

Beta 12 has been out for a couple weeks. I can't say it will fix your issue.

Please ensure you have updated to the latest version and test again.

Yes, the original error has been corrected in v 12.

Now Time as an Input/Variable is not accepted as a part of a Condition.

May I request you allow this type of string (I'm not a coder

new TimeSpan("UserInput/VariableName")<=Time(0),TimeOfDay

This would allow for shifting times without having to go into the condition each time you want to modify it.

UPDATE: the TIme des not seem to work. I.E... if condition is:

new TimeSpan(11,40,00)<=Time(0),TimeOfDay

Trades are still being taken in the PM.

Thank you for reporting this behavior.

I was able to demonstrate that the Time series cannot be compared with a Time input or Time variable in the Strategy Builder and I have submitted a bug report about this.

Once I have a tracking ID for this item, I will post the id in this thread.
