Hi, Is there a way to change the instrument display for the contract month? For example change CL 9-16 to CLU16 or CLU6?

Thank you for the question.
There would not be a way to define a futures instrument name in the format you are asking or CLU16. Mainly a futures instrument in NinjaTrader needs to be in the format of "instrumentName ContractMonth-year" for the platform to recognize it correctly.
You could write an indicator to display this for you if you wanted though. An example would be to take in the instrument name and output a Label or Textbox that includes the formatted text you want.
