MACD Signal line

Hi,
I am new to trading, just giving my first steps,and reading a lot but with lots of questions. I haven't been able to find the answer to this one, even though I feel it's too basic. Here it is:

I am trying to start to do paper trade with NT8 and I am trying to setup the MACD indicator. I have some suggestions I am following and I need to change the color of the "SIGNAL" line. However, when I go to NT 8, I see, MACD, Avg and Diff.

I think the signal line is the same as the Avg, but could you confirm if I am right?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums!

With reference to: http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.p...ivergence_macd you are correct, the avg line would be the signal line to color.
