How does one add custom tools (menu items) to the NinjaTrader Chart Toolbar?
Chelsea's ChartToolBarExample is nice example of adding to the chartGrid, but I'd like to conserve some space and make use of the "title" bar real-estate

Doing a search here in the NT8 forums for "button" will get you several threads discussing the topic..

Thank you Chelsea. Exactly what I happened to be looking for when you replied.... a way to make its visibility dependent on chart tab.

I've developed a custom drawing tool. It is automatically listed as a menu item button on the NT Drawing Tools menu. I'd also like to attach the button to a menu item under my custom toolbar. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hello CriticalTrader,

There is not a way to do this currently.

In NinjaTrader 7, the ToolBarShortcut script did this by triggering the original buttons in the drawing tool menu. In NT8 with wpf, this is no longer possible.

I've submitted a feature request on your behalf about this to our development department for consideration.
