    Invisible panel

    hi
i have a chart in which i have two instruments.
Instrumaent1 is the instrument i want to see in the "main panel".
Instrumemt2 is in panel number 2 . i attach indicator to instrument2 and display the output of the indicator on the "main panel".
How do i make panel 2 invisible ? i suggest that user will be able to mark the panel as invisible. I did not find such an option

    Hello doron,

    Thank you for your post,

To do this, right click on the chart and select Data Series.

On the second Data Series, change the Chart Style to "Line on Close" and change the Color to "Transparent." Next, use the lower Panel setting to select 1. Press OK .

This will move the second Data Series to the 1st Panel and visually hide it from showing up on the chart.

i strongly suggest that you will add a new feature to the software that a panel can be marked as invisible .

In my experience, NT8 allows you to fully collapse a panel.

I have a data series with an indicator in the 2nd panel, and I can collapse the 1st panel all the way into nothing.

        Do you not experience that?

          thx
i guess you suggest to make the height of the panel 0 .
          Yes i did .
To me it looks more logical to set the panel as invisible.

One must always look to work arounds... but your suggestion has purpose...

Maybe the boffins at NT HQ can equate the two...
