Strategy/Indicator Inputs

I have a simple indicator showing 2 series on a chart based in V1 & V2 input parameters.

I also have a strategy that creates an instance of this indicator and uses it to make decisions.

My question is do I need to include the same V1 & V2 input parameters on the strategy and make sure they're the same as the indicator or can the strategy use whatever values the indicator is using?

Hello delTik,

You would want your strategy created indicator instance and on chart indicator to be using the same parameters. This give the strategy the same indicator values as what you see on the chart.
