Prevent loading chart unless data feed is connected
HiAs Ninja is activated (launched) and before it is connected to data feed - the current workspace is open and the charts in the workspace are loaded with the data stored in the computer.
Is it possible to prevent the charts to be loaded with "old data" and start loading the charts only after data feed is connected ?

Hello doron,
Thank you for writing in.
You would need to delete the historical data pertaining to the instrument that you are loading if you wish to not see the data displayed before connecting.
Do note that new historical data is obtained once you connect to a data feed that supports historical data. So, any old data is replaced with the new data.
Please, let us know if we may be of further assistance.Zachary G.NinjaTrader Customer Service

if the chart is going to be refreshed with the new data anyhow what was the benefit in displaying it in the first place ??
i just lost time in order to process old data which is useless
in my case , i have heavy indicator , it is a wast of several seconds what for ? .
I think and suggest to add a property to the chart which can be assigned by end user which will indicate if he wants the load of old data or not ?
