Crash disabling strategies in loading

I have strategies that can take upwards of 30 minutes to process before they go live. If I am loading a strategy and must disable it before it is done loading - it will crash NT8.

Please offer a graceful exit or provide a button to cancel the loading process

I will second this request. I have a similar situation and sometimes just a run-away strategy I am trying to test. I usually just have to exit NT8 and then reload, trying to remember where I left of is a real pain.

This is Beta. Maybe we should find the root cause of why it crashes when disabled while loading. Will it happen if someone creates some major loops to fake whatever you are doing?


Is your CPU maxxed out? IS this because of BETA10 issues? Did it happen in BETA9?

It has always happened in every beta version.

And the root cause is NT not handling the closing of the strategy.
