Simulated draw object click

Is there a method that allows me to create the same effect of clicking on a drawing tool in the drawing menu?

For example, if my indicator has custom buttons built into it, I want one of those buttons to do the same thing as if a user was to click the drawing toolbar and select rectangle.

I know how to have the button click draw a rectangle on the chart but the only way so far I see to let the user draw it is to use a send key (something I want to avoid)

Currently I do not know of a way to call the specific method the button press does, I will put in a question to development to see if that is / can be exposed for use.

I wanted to reply back.

Currently there are no public or exposed methods to create a instance of a DrawingTool the same way the context menu does unfortunately. Anything that may be located by users at this point would be undocumented.

This item has been added as a feature request for further review on exposing a way to do this.
