    Chart Scaling

If I have EURUSD in the 1.1300 price range but have plots much higher or lower, can I not have these plots change the chart scale?

    i.e. making bars very small.

or what is the recommended way to handle this situation?

    Hello futurenets,

    Thanks for your post.

In general, most indicators are set to "autoscale" true. So the chart will include the highest/lowest value of the indicators and or price action in the visible time window to determine the scale to use on the chart to be able to see everything set to autoscale.

To prevent other indicators from changing the scale they would need to be not included in the calculation of the chart scale. To exclude an indicator from changing the auto scaling of the chart, in the indicators parameters, uncheck "autoscale" for each indicator that you do not want to be used to determine the chart scale.

Examples of this would be pivots type indicators where, depending on the spread, if set to autoscale true would collapse the bars down to show the highest and lowest pivot.
