Saving/retaining the order of a list of symbols in the MA

Hi guys,

In the Market Analyser each day I order my list of symbols depending on some visual criteria.

In the current NT8 functionality, is there a way to save these symbols in that order so that I can open that ordered list in another Market Analyzer tab?

I have 2-3 MA tabs (each with a different template that scans for different criteria), but I would like the symbol list order to be consistent in each tab. There are quite a few symbols so I am looking for a way to avoid having to manually do this for each MA tab each day. Is this possible?

I know there is the ‘Create Instrument list’ by right-clicking but this does not retain the order.

No, there's not a way currently to save those lists and the order of the instruments for another tab. However, I can see how this functionality could be improved. I will submit a feature request on your behalf to our Development team for future feature consideration.

Even the ability to copy and paste the symbol list, similar to an excel style column would be helpful.

Actually that ability to paste a symbol list directly into the MA would be helpful outside of my original query and might be worthwhile including in your feature request. I recall thinking this a couple of times while using NT8 in the past.
