should bar time be in ascending order?

Thanks for your post.

What I think is happening is that you have multiple log messages with the same timestamp arriving at the log code and I am guessing that it is then sorted by the next column which is all the same and then the 3rd column where you do have variations.

If instead of using the log file you use the output window they will be in order.
