Slow crosshair

Any cursor other than the pointer moves slowly and not smoothly. In adittion it seems to have some inertia or momentum, so that when I stop moving the mouse the cursor does not stop.

I do not know if it is a matter of configuration ( which I do not know how to configure ) or wether it is something wrong with it. It only happens on NT8beta, not on NT7.
