If you have a spare minute, I need to see if you can recreate this problem.

1. Install the attached Trading Hours Template.....

2. Create a Range chart Range(31) with 30 or more day lookback to fill the chart
Use a standard Ninja CME US Index Futures RTH Trading Hours....

3. Once the chart is populated, go to DataSeries and change the Trading Hours
to use the 2sessCME_IndexFut Trading Hours

when I do this, the chart goes weird....bars seem to change...

NOTE: I created this trading hours template several 'betas' ago and keep copying it into the new releases. Did something perhaps change in the .xml that perhaps requires me to recreate it

Hello photog53, perhaps there has been a change.

I have reported something similar to this where the bars wouldn't print correctly on a Range charts and this had to do with the Trading Hours template which contained non-EOD session times.

Unfortunately, I am unable to test the template you attached due to the template being a txt file. I attempted to convert the file to xml, but didn't function when I included it into NinjaTrader TradingHours directory.

I could test this further if you provide a screenshot of your session times that you have for the Trading Hours template you sent me.

...yes the Ninja Support Forum won't let me upload .xml files.... converted it to .txt
so you could at least see it.

I have attached the 'screen grab' of the Trading Hours template.

This template breaks the trading day into two pieces....with EOD coming at 3:15pm

Hello photo53, thank you for your post. That's right, but I'm not sure as of why the file doesn't work after converting back to xml.

However, this was exactly what I have reported to our product development team and seems that this will be fixed on the next version of NinjaTrader 8 beta. The ID for this bug report is NTEIGHT-9432.

ahhhh.... I am so glad you could replicate this.
It is causing major headaches, and I was afraid it would be something intermittent and difficult to chase down.
