Window Capture with Snagit 12

Capture a Window with Snagit 12 is not working in NT 8 for me. This works OK on another computer with NT 7....and it works OK on the same computer (as with NT 8) capturing a particular window in Tradestation for example. Could there be something set up differently in NT 8 that would cause this ??....rather than getting a particular window capture you get a full screen capture in NT 8 now when attempting a window capture.

Does Ninja have a copy of Snagit 12 they can perhaps test with on this...??

I reinstalled Snagit 12 & NT 8 but still have a problem with this.

Thanks for the info....suggested solutions still not quite right though....will check out with Snagit help department next week...will post any positive news ....

Love Snagit...automatic sequential file numbers with a separate hot key entry available....easy to have a record of the way your day unfolds...& easy to click through to review....invaluable....

Got Snagit window capture to work in NT 8...
In Snagit Profile Settings -- Selection: use Active Window and Actual Title Bar...
this will allow a copy of the selected active window.

Not the same settings as in NT 7 but works....

In Windows 7, "Aero" must be enabled for video/image capture applications can recognize the NinjaTrader 8 windows.

(At least that happens to Snagit, Camtasia, OBS and Action!)

Switched to Aero and Snagit works great on a Window capture now....
