Some of stategy methods are not activating

Hi

Attached here a simple strategy .
No logic in the strategy I just generated it using the ninja tools

I am using simulated data feed and TF

Using the DOM i enter and exit position and

tested which methods are activated and found that :

OnAccountItemUpdate

OnMarketDepth

OnBarUpdate

Are activated .

But the following methods are not activated why ?

OnPositionUpdate

OnExecutionUpdate

OnOrderUpdate

What am I missing ?

Hello doron,

Thank you for your post.

There would need to be an event from the strategy to call those methods.

The strategy position would need to update for OnPositionUpdate() to be called.
A strategy order would need to execute to update OnExecutionUpdate().
And an order from the strategy would need to update to call OnOrderUpdate().
