Warnings when compiling with Visual Studio 2013

hello,

Just want you to be aware of the following with the NinjaTrader 8 Beta 8.0.0.8 64 bit

I get 347 warnings when I compile the solution NinjaTrader.Custom. A sample warning is below:

The type 'NinjaTrader.NinjaScript.Indicators.Indicator' in 'c:\Users\Paul\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicators\@BarTimer.cs' conflicts with the imported type 'NinjaTrader.NinjaScript.Indicators.Indicator' in 'c:\Users\Paul\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll'. Using the type defined in 'c:\Users\Paul\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicators\@BarTimer.cs'. C:\Users\Paul\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Strategies\@Strategy.cs

I am using Visual Studio 2013 Community Update 5

The solution builds ok.

Thank you for the post.

As noted in the thread that quicktrick linked, there can be many warnings displayed in the Visual Studio solution specifically. These do not necessarily mean there are any problems just that visual studio has detected some items which may need reviewed. In this case, if the items listed are not dealing with your custom code specifically they can be ignored, the NinjaScript editor would provide relevant information if an actual error that NinjaTrader will care about is detected.
