How to change instrument of a chart in code?

In NinjaTrader 8 this is not possible. A feature request has been created to add this ability. I will update this thread when I have further information.

May be it is possible through window instrument linking. For example I have custom NTWindow which has the option of instruments linking (http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt8/en-us/).

So changing the instrument of the custom window the chart instruments will change either.
