NT Beta rel 8 - Show tab is shown even though it is unchecked

I have setup my chart to not show tabs (show tabs - unchecked). When i close down NT and restart it back up again, the tab reappears even though the "Show tabs" is unchecked.

By default, shouldn't NT open up the charts up as it was before in the last session or do I need to create a new template so that the tab do not show up the next time NT starts back up?
