The width of window borders is smth like 10 pixels, they are very thick and take up too much space. I tried to change them, but couldn't find the parameter in the configuration files. Is there a way to make them thinner?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums!
Regrettably there is no direct user setting for this.
In an upcoming release of NinjaTrader 8 beta there will be changes made to borders.
Alternatively it is possible to create a new "skin" for the application where you can change just about anything: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...r_own_skin.htm
