    bars stop printing during Market replay

    It happens almost everytime, as I get into the late asia on forex, the bars stop printing, but the playback timer still continues.

    Help.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    If the Session Template setting in the chart is changed to 'Default 24/7' will data begin updating normally?

    To select the Default 24/7 Session Template:
    • Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
    • In the Data Series menu, set the 'Session Template' property to 'Default 24/7', then click OK.

      Hi Kyle,
      Thanks for your reply. I should have mentioned I am using NT8. I can't seem to find what you describe in my data series chart for NT 8.

      One other question, is it illegal to ask multiple questions? after I place a trade white text shows up on the chart with the $s and qty of the transaction, how do I turn off that notification without having to turn off all my text, which is what I have done now by making text the same color as the background.

        It is certainly not illegal - ask away!

        Thanks for the clarification. In NT7 it was called 'session template' but in NT8 it is called 'trading hours'. You can find your trading hours settings by right-clicking on your chart and selecting 'Data Series'. What is the 'Trading hours' property set to?

        In the same Data Series window you can adjust the 'Plot Executions' property to 'Do not plot' so that no historical trade information plots on your chart.

          the setting for trading hours in NT8 is set at Use Instrument settings. What should I set it at to eliminate the problem I am having?

            Please change the Trading Hours to 'Default 24/7' and test to see if the issue persists.

              OK, made the changes as suggested, still having the problem. I changed the data series, Trading hours to default 24x7. Assuming this is correct, same problem exists. I notice that it happens every time around 7pm my time zone. Mountain zone.

              Does that help you narrow it down at all? Any other suggestions?

                  Guys,
                  I am still having this problem and have not seen a fix.

                  On another note, NT has crashed on my computer 3x in 30 mins today. Nothing has changed in the last 4 weeks since using NT8,now its crashing. Any ideas why?
