Historical data lost changing rollover date

When changing rollover date of a future contract all historical data (minute day and tick) are deleted.

Data are not deleted changing only rollover offset without touching date.

This happens consistently on all future contracts.

I had to modify dates because rollover dates and offsets are reset to default instead to be migrated after initial importing ninja 7 database
So I had to change them also on existing very old contracts and lost all data (luckily I had a backup). As a workaround I changed dates/offsets and restored data only thereafter.

Thank you for reporting this to us. I am seeing the same behavior on my end, as well. I am going to investigate this to see if it is to be expected, or if it something we can address, and I will post back here with any updates.

Update: After looking further into this, it is expected that changing the rollover date would delete the data, because this will essentially create a brand new instrument as far as the database is concerned. We are currently looking into an issue where simply changing the offset will also delete the data, which is not expected. (NTEIGHT-9101)
