'Share' to Stocktwits bug not showing image?

Hi guys,

I have just been trying the share function using a stocktwits account. I am sharing a 'window' from within the chart. The first time it worked OK, then the next four times it didn't post the image (the text posted fine, but the image is just a 'X' in stocktwits.

Has anyone else noticed this? I tried loading up my account in another browser and the results are the same so I think it is a posting issue.

Thank you for sharing. I will test this out with a new StockTwits account in the morning (assuming accounts are free) and post back with my findings.

Edit: I managed to test this out as I was heading out the door. I see the same issue that you are seeing, so I will sync with our development team in the morning and see what can be done. (NTEIGHT-9211)

I'm happy to report that we've resolved this issue today in our internal build, and you should see the StockTwits adapter posting images reliably in an upcoming release of NinjaTrader 8 Beta. This may not make it into Beta 8, and if it does not, then you should see the fix released with Beta 9.

Hi Dave,

Could you please advise if this fix made the B8 release? The reason I ask, is that now when I try and post using Stocktwits it causes NT to crash, whereas in B7 there was no crash it was just the chart image which was the problem.

I wasn't sure whether this was a new bug from after the fix, or a new bug which will be fixed when chart image fix is applied in B9.

That particular fix did not make it into Beta 8, and will be included in Beta 9. I will do some further testing in Beta 8 to see if I can reproduce the crashing now.
